Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps on various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient of pumping concrete to designated areas. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as the ability to work in a healthy environment while adhering to safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate concrete pumps and related equipment on-site, ensuring proper setup and operation.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate a safe set up for concrete pump.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Pre trip, check fluids and grease pumps daily.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including the pump.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with the pump and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations. Must have a CDL.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous, particularly regarding the operation and maintenance of concrete pumps.
- Ability to be able to work to concrete schedule.
