Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial)
Location: Crestline, Ohio
Pay: Up to $32.22/hour to start, based on experience
Type: Contract-to-Hire
We're hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing client facilty in Crestline, Ohio. This is a hands on industrial maintenance role supporting plant equipment, troubleshooting issues on the floor, and helping keep production running safely and efficiently.
This opportunity is a good fit for someone who has experience working in a manufacturing environment, is mechanically strong, and is comfortable handling repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting in a fast paced setting.
What we are looking for:
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic schematics
Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
Ability to complete maintenance records and work orders
Willingness to work a 12 hour schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred experience:
PLC experience
Fanuc robots, robot pendants, and Allen Bradley controllers
Diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and vibration analysis equipment
Forklifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes
Welding and cutting equipment
Technical training or related maintenance education
