We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team and ensure accurate, efficient billing and authorization processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit medical claims for MS and infusion services accurately and timely.
- Obtain prior authorizations from insurance providers to ensure coverage for treatments.
- Review patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Resolve claim denials and follow up on unpaid claims.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation in eClinicalWorks (ECW).
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper coding and billing compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a medical biller, preferably with infusion billing experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance authorizations and verification processes.
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (ECW) is required.
- Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) and billing regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance providers, and staff.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in infusion clinics or specialty practices.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
