Auto Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other technicians to deliver high-quality service.

Duties

• Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
• Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and components for effective troubleshooting.
• Execute auto body repairs as needed, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience in automotive repair.
• Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, including the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)

• ASE Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Hilo, HI 96720: Relocate before starting work (Required)
