Plumber/Tradesman/Janitorial Supervisor

MRT Support Services has a current opening for a well versed plumber/tradesman whom possesses great personal skills, ability to work independently and supervise multiple work sites. Successful applicant will provide support to interstate rest areas across SC. MRT will provide a work vehicle. You must possess a clean driving record, be drug free and able to successfully pass a background check. We strongly value honesty, drive and ability to work well without direct hands on supervision. The RM will Supervise the rest areas and assist the company in the performance of quality control inspections, repairs and maintenance of the facilities and oversight of records and reports from each site. The majority of the repairs are plumbing, minor electric and misc repairs. A wide breadth of trades knowledge is desired. Previous relevant experience that would be beneficial include janitorial, building maintenance, construction lead and punch, commercial, industrial or factory maintenance lead, general contracting, etc.

The work sites are in Anderson, Laurens, Newberry and Chester.

Prefer Candidates living in/around Laurens, Simpsonville, Greenville, Spartanburg, etc

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform personnel management, inventory control, QC at facilities.
• Performs troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of a variety of repairs.
• Plumbing repairs, flush valves, vacuum breakers, sensors, solenoids, snaking and clearing clogs and lines fixtures, and equipment.
• Electrical, bulbs, ballasts, breakers, hand dryers, etc.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic carpentry and general repairs.
• Work in direct support of the R/A Supervisors by providing training and overseeing the operations, scheduling, quality control, emergency response, oversee records and reports., etc.
• Performs regular inspections of rest area facilities for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment and safety.
