Head Chef Position Available
We're seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team with a focus on culinary excellence, staff development, cost management, and strong collaboration with our front-of-house team.
Key Qualities & Responsibilities:
Staff Training & Development
- Mentor, coach, and develop kitchen staff at all levels
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Lead by example while maintaining high culinary standards
Leadership & Communication
- Foster clear, consistent communication throughout the restaurant
- Create a positive, respectful, and professional work environment
- Effectively manage scheduling, delegation, and daily kitchen operations
Front-of-House Partnership
- Work closely with managers, servers, and bartenders to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Promote a "one team" culture between the kitchen and dining room
- Collaborate on menu execution, special events, and service improvements
- Support open communication and mutual respect between all departments
Cost Control & Financial Performance
- Manage food, labor, and inventory costs
- Minimize waste while maintaining quality and consistency
- Ensure proper purchasing, receiving, and portion control practices
- Contribute to menu development with profitability in mind
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction
