We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves effectively.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and retail math applications.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Supervising experience is advantageous for potential leadership opportunities.
