Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, and other genres as needed.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Provide individualized attention and feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Organize and lead rehearsals for performances, showcasing students' progress and achievements.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student development and class activities.
- Incorporate elements of choreography, creativity, and expression into lessons to engage students fully.
- Stay updated on current trends in dance education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into classes.
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching dance, with a strong emphasis on curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Background in working with children or adults in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is a plus.
