What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Worker 11 pm to 7 am /12am tp 8am position at Mrs. Jackie's Christian Daycare?
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior management
- Ensure the health and safety of children by following proper hygiene practices and maintaining a clean environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, such as nannying, babysitting, or working in a daycare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for children of different ages
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent education
Skills:
- Educate children through interactive play and structured learning activities
- Manage a classroom of children, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide specialized care for toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Understand childhood development stages and implement appropriate strategies to support growth and learning
- Utilize nannying skills to provide personalized care for infants, including feeding, soothing, and following established routines
- Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in children
