Mroads is looking for a "Dynatrace Architect" for one of the direct clients. This is a remote opportunity with the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design end-to-end enterprise solutions that are scalable, secure, resilient, cost-efficient, and maintainable.
- Define and promote architectural standards, design patterns, best practices, and reusable frameworks across development teams.
- Produce and maintain high-quality architectural artifacts, including solution designs, technical specifications, system diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
- Design systems with a strong focus on observability, leveraging monitoring and APM platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools.
- Provide architectural guidance and governance for compliance-driven initiatives, including regulatory and audit-related projects; experience with SOX-controlled environments is a plus.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Evaluate complex business and technical challenges, identify solution options, and drive architectural recommendations with minimal supervision.
- Lead technical decision-making throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring successful execution, delivery, and adoption.
- Communicate architectural vision, trade-offs, and technical strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prioritize competing initiatives, manage architectural risks, and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards.
- Foster collaboration across teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture practices and organizational capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Technical Architect designing large-scale enterprise applications and platforms.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles including scalability, performance optimization, security, resiliency, maintainability, and cost management.
- Hands-on experience implementing observability and monitoring strategies using APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical design artifacts using industry-standard tools.
- Experience supporting compliance, governance, risk, or audit-focused initiatives within enterprise environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, drive initiatives from concept through delivery, and influence technical direction across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in SOX-regulated or highly governed environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern application design patterns, including microservices and event-driven systems.
- Experience leading architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
