The successful candidate: Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Flexibility may be required based on business needs Position Summary: A professional caregiver who assumes a supervisory role in organizing and directing both patient care and staff activities within the MRI Department. This role includes evaluating technologists, planning departmental activities, and managing staffing assignments. The MRI Supervisor guides personnel in delivering high-quality care to patients of all age groups and performs duties as delegated by the Imaging Director and Manager. The role also emphasizes maximizing safety for patients, care providers, and service personnel through thorough screening and education in accordance with MRI safety guidelines. Position Qualifications Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with exposure to all aspects of care and safety within the MRI Department Required Certification/Licensure: Registered with A.R.R.T. (MR) CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred Certification/Licensure: Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) Certification preferred Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter with precise attention to detail and strong follow-through City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
