Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter weather conditions. As a Snow Shoveler, you will be responsible for clearing snow from walkways, driveways, and other designated areas to ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other areas as needed.
- Utilize hand tools such as shovels and snow blowers effectively to remove snow.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks as required, including lawn care and tree care.
- Assist in building snow barriers or other structures to manage snow accumulation.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, including power tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of snow removal tasks.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents while working in winter conditions.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to dig, build, and perform physical labor for extended periods in cold weather conditions.
- Experience with tree care or gardening is beneficial for overall landscaping tasks.
