Responsibilities: 

As a banking recruiter, you will be responsible for developing a short list of qualified candidates to present to our clients to meet their current staffing needs. Specific responsibilities include: 

• Review and understand the search requirements for roles in banking and financial services
• Develop a targeted recruitment plan
• Research and identify potential candidates and referral sources within the banking industry
• Drive outreach to potential candidates to notify them of the opportunity
• Sell potential candidates on the opportunity and the client’s value proposition
• Assess candidates’ qualifications, motivations, and career goals
• Determine the short list of candidates to be presented to the client
• Develop a short career summary to highlight each candidate’s fit for the role

• Excellent communication skills—in person and over the phone—with the proven ability to tailor the features and benefits of career opportunities to candidates with differing needs
• Comfortable developing relationships over the phone with banking and financial services professionals
• High level of energy, outgoing personality, and an insatiable desire to succeed
• A history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Self-motivated and resilient enough to handle the rejection that comes with any sales position
• Internet savvy and able to perform targeted research to identify banking candidates
• Proactive approach and the ability to manage situations in a professional and tactful manner
• Comfortable working well independently and in a team environment
