Claims Mailroom Associate

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)

Contract Length: Approximately 6 months w/ opportunity for extension or permeant hire

Location: Onsite – Tampa, FL

About the Role

Liberty Dental Plan is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Temp to support our Claims Medicaid department. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing all incoming mail and documentation for processing, ensuring claims and related materials move efficiently and accurately through our systems. Job Duties

•          Open, sort, and prep incoming mail for processing

•          Assist with outgoing mail preparation and distribution

•          Scan documents into the claims system with accuracy and attention to detail

•          Image and file claims back-up documentation and x-rays

•          Manage and route incoming faxes to the appropriate department or personnel

•          Promote and support a positive, collaborative teamwork culture

•          Maintain a safe and productive working environment by following established protocols

•          Interact professionally with all colleagues and external contacts

•          Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

•       High school diploma or GED

•          At least 1 year of experience in an office setting, including prior data entry experience

•          Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

•          Reliable, consistent attendance and the ability to work onsite every day

•          Strong time management and organizational skills

•          Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision

•          Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
