We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review electronic medical records and perform in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will document exam findings using a web-based portal.
Key attributes include:
- Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer use
- Current and unrestricted NP or PA license
This is an in-person position with a set schedule during normal business hours. No on-call shifts or night work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical assessments for 3-5 Veterans per day
- Review electronic medical records
- Perform in-person physical exams
- Document exam findings using a web-based portal
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license (NCCPA accredited)
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
