Position Overview:
The Packaging & Fulfillment Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all jewelry handling, packaging, and shipping processes. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and consistency while training and managing fulfillment staff and maintaining company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily packaging, boxing, and shipping operations
- Ensure proper handling of delicate and high-value jewelry items
- Train, onboard, and supervise fulfillment and packaging staff
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor quality control to ensure accuracy and presentation standards
- Manage workflow, deadlines, and order volume fluctuations
- Coordinate inventory flow related to packaging and fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Report operational issues and performance metrics to leadership
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in fulfillment, packaging, warehouse operations, or production supervision
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet shipping deadlines
- Comfortable working with small, delicate, and valuable items
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Jewelry, luxury goods, or small-item fulfillment experience is a plus but not required
