MRE Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented ETRM System Testing Analyst to ensure the functional requirements of a Commodity Trading and Risk Management system configuration are met through rigorous testing practices. This role will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, supporting automation efforts, and actively participating in defect resolution. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and ensure release readiness.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute test cases to validate Endur system configurations, trade lifecycle functionality, and risk calculations.
- Ensure regression testing coverage for system updates, integrations, and production releases.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects efficiently.
- Support automated testing frameworks, enhancing test execution efficiency across sprints.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, surfacing risks and defects impacting release readiness.
KEY INTERACTIONS
- Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects efficiently.
- Update ADO (Azure DevOps) statuses as required.
CRITICAL DELIVERABLES

QUALITICATION
- 3 years of experience as an ETRM System Testing Analyst.
- Interest in ETRM platforms (Endur, RightAngle, etc.) with a willingness to learn and be trained in system testing.
- Exposure to the energy sector (crude/refined products or natural gas) or a basic understanding of trading, scheduling, or risk management.
- Strong aptitude for learning new systems and applying testing methodologies effectively.
