We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team, ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our fleet and equipment. As well as customers small repair jobs. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical expertise, technical troubleshooting skills, and a proactive attitude to keep our operations running smoothly.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on trucks, dumpsters, containers, and recycling equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on systems including high voltage, low voltage, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring safety standards are met during troubleshooting and repairs.
- Operate welding equipment ( welding) to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and alignments.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with field service operations, providing technical support on-site when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within manufacturing facilities or similar environments
- Familiarity with scissor lifts, forklifts, and other industrial equipment operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and engineering troubleshooting manuals.
- Knowledge of welding techniques ( welding) for repair tasks
