Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Azle, TX, with opportunities for remote work. The Assistant Safety Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of health and safety policies to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting safety training, overseeing occupational health initiatives, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions. The role requires active collaboration with internal teams to maintain and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) protocols
- Experience in delivering Safety Training to ensure staff adheres to safety standards
- Strong skills in Accident Investigation and implementing preventive measures
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety practices and standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and occasionally travel to on-site locations
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or CPR/First Aid are beneficial but not mandatory
