Director of AI/ML Data Architect

Location: United States

(Remote/Hybrid – Los Angeles)

Own the intelligence layer of the global creator marketplace

We are building the intelligence engine that will power how creators and brands connect at global scale. Your responsibility is to architect the data and machine learning backbone that makes the entire marketplace work. Identity, ingestion, signals, ranking, prediction, safety, and real-time optimization all fall under your ownership.

If you have built large-scale recommendation systems, marketplace intelligence stacks, ranking engines, or relevance systems, this is the role. If you have not, this will not be the right fit.

What You Will Own

Creator Intelligence Graph

Unify creator identity, content signals, audience behavior, brand requirements, and campaign outcomes into a single intelligence layer that powers all downstream systems.

Multi Source Data Ingestion and Normalization.

Design ingestion patterns across multiple platforms, data types, and schemas. Build the systems that convert fragmented signals into structured, high-integrity features.

Core Machine Learning Systems

Architect the models and scoring components that drive

• creator and brand matching
• ranking and recommendations
• suitability and brand safety
• semantic content understanding
• performance and ROI prediction
• audience and content segmentation

Closed Loop Learning

Build feedback systems that continuously strengthen the intelligence graph as campaigns run and users take action.

Platform Standards

Define standards for data modeling, feature stores, model lifecycle, observability, and how the intelligence system scales across millions of creators and billions of signals.

Who You Are

• You have built large-scale relevance or recommendation systems in search, ads, marketplaces, or major content platforms.
• You understand identity resolution, embeddings, feature stores, and multi modal data.
• You think in systems, not isolated models.
• You know how to design ML that performs under real world constraints.
• You can own an architecture end to end and set direction for engineers across data, backend, and ML.
• You move quickly and make clear, informed decisions.

If your background is primarily training models in isolation or building pipelines without owning the intelligence architecture, this will not be the right role.
