- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure their proper functionality and safety.
- Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot faults, and make necessary repairs to restore service.
- Upgrades: Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency, capacity, or safety.
- Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Emergency Response: Provide prompt and effective response to electrical emergencies, including outages and malfunctions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician's license by the state of Wisconsin regulations.
- Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics. Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively.
