Job Summary:
- MIG weld on mild steel from 20 gauge up to ¼” thickness
- Complete weld jobs using different fixtures/jigs, open table set up, and work instructions
- Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints, and perform necessary job set ups to ensure customer specifications are met
- Ability to qualify to necessary weld specifications including AWS, ASME IX, and NAVSEA welding certifications
- Able to use conventional and precision measuring tools
- Follow safety rules and use safe work practices.
- Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications, and instructions
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, while following safety regulations
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/welding environment
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of work shift
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed
