Summary
As part of the materials team, this position is responsible for all aspects of shipping and the stockroom.

Summary

Primary Role
- Receive raw material from Receiving Inspection (RI) into the ShopworX ERP system and inventory in the proper bin location in the stockroom
- Prioritize, pull, and fill shop orders for the production floor
- Verify material at the completion of the shop order and return it to the assigned stockroom locations as needed
- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy, including daily cycle counting
- Create and maintain efficient organization of all materials, including newly acquired parts for new product introductions (NPI)
- Ensure material flow is consistent with FIFO guidelines
- Identify, justify, and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Prepare MRRs for lost or damaged inventory per applicable company policies
- Identify and isolate obsolete material and forward to Management for review and disposition
- Package and prepare daily shipments in accordance with customer requirements
- Work within the ShopworX ERP system to create the open order report and customer packing slips
- Prepare bills of lading and schedule freight pick up as needed
- Navigate web based portals to schedule customer shipments
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistance
- Other duties may be assigned
