What do Lead Builders do at Wes-Tech?
With your electro/mechanical manufacturing skills, you will assemble complex, large-scale automated solutions equipment. As an integral member supporting our Production and Engineering teams you will have extensive customer contact and serve as a trusted partner to our customers.
What will you be responsible for?
- Assembling complex custom electro/mechanical devices and machines using blueprints and written and verbal instructions.
- Diagnosing or improvising electrical circuitry or mechanical parts as needed so that machine runs properly.
- Reassembling machines at customer sites.
- Completing warranty and service requests.
- Occasional part fabrication on the fly.
What are the requirements for this position?
At a minimum,
- High school or equivalent with at least 10 years of machining or toolmaking experience
- Experience assembling complex mechanical/electrical devices
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions
- Willingness to work hard and be responsible
- Enjoys building machines and working in a cooperative environment
- Must be able to travel locally, overnight, on weekends, or internationally
