Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, product deviations, delivery schedules, quality concerns, and general inquiries
- Set up new customers, process sales orders, and enter shop orders into the ERP system
- Monitor production status and provide customers and internal teams with updates on delivery schedules
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to establish shipment dates and resolve issues
- Manage customer complaints and coordinate resolution of quality issues and RMAs
- Maintain customer stocking programs and support customer forecasting requirements
- Own and maintain the quote process
- Enter quote requests and prepare quotations in conjunction with Engineering and Operations
- Follow up on requotes and coordinate new opportunities with the Sales Manager
- Support the Sales Manager with new account development and lead generation activities
- Assist with maintaining CRM activity and pipeline tracking.
- Assist with customer compliance requirements to include, but not limited to: IMDS, REACH, RoHS, Customer-specific documentation requests
- Collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Support continuous improvement efforts and recommend process enhancements
- Perform additional duties and cross-functional support activities as assigned
- 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or manufacturing support preferred
- Experience in manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of quoting, order entry, and production scheduling processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, ERP systems, and CRM software
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Occasional lifting of up to 20–40 pounds
