The Role
We’re hiring a Food Cart Operator — someone who can run a cart, handle a crowd, and deliver fast, friendly service without missing a beat.
This is not a sit-around job. It’s active, social, and high-energy — perfect for someone who likes staying busy and interacting with people all day.
Pay
Starting at $18–$20/hour (based on experience & performance)
Higher pay available for more experienced candidates
Includes base pay tips growth potential
What You’ll Do
- Serve customers quickly, accurately, and with personality
- Take orders and handle payments
- Prep and stock the cart for service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Work independently while managing busy rush periods
- Represent the Mr. V’s brand in the community
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years in food service (required)
- Strong customer service skills — you like people
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Able to move, lift (up to 50 lbs), and stay on your feet
- Reliable transportation valid NYS driver’s license
- ServSafe is a plus (not required)

- Outdoor food cart locations (city sites, events, hospitals)
