The General Technician’s responsibility is to diagnose and locate worn and damaged parts as well as removal, installation and servicing of those parts.
- Proper basic system diagnosis – tune-up, brakes, air conditioning and all general repairs
- Removal, installation and servicing of components
- Assist in proper maintenance of shop and equipment
Skills and Requirements
- Have a minimum set of quality tools
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience
- Must have some ASE Certifications
- Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Punctuality
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent follow-up & organization skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Valid Driver’s License
