Milex Complete Auto Care - Mr. Transmission is a new store in the franchise system, offering full-service automotive repair and transmission services. We are building this location from the ground up, creating a strong opportunity for an experienced technician to join early, help shape the shop, and grow with the business over time.
We are seeking a Master Automotive Technician who brings strong diagnostic and repair skills, a solid work ethic, and a team-first mindset. This is more than a standard technician role - it is a ground-floor opportunity with a clear path to leadership. From day one, you will play an important role in launching the shop, helping set up operations, and contributing to the long-term success of the location.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a wide range of vehicles.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair transmission systems along with general automotive systems.
- Complete work accurately, efficiently, and according to high-quality standards.
- Assist in the early setup and organization of the shop, including arranging lifts, compressors, work benches, shelving, and other equipment.
- Help establish an efficient, safe, and organized work environment from the beginning.
- Learn and use shop systems and processes, including training through video calls with ELITEK, Identifix, Shop-Ware, and other platforms.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly with management and team members.
- Support the development of shop workflow, standards, and daily operations as an early team member.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with master-level diagnostic and repair ability preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general automotive repair and transmission systems.
- Willingness to assist with shop setup and take ownership in building a new location.
- Comfort learning new shop management, diagnostic, and workflow systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a growing team.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, motivated, and interested in long-term growth with the company.
