What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpet Cleaning Technician position at Mr. Steam Carpet Cleaners?
Our professional carpet cleaning technicians will be responsible for deep-cleaning customers' carpets, as well as upholstery, area rugs, tile, and hardwood. We are looking for candidates with a strong commitment to customer service, who will listen carefully to customer concerns and take the time to ensure that every detail is addressed properly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate carpet and floor cleaning equipment efficiently and safely
- Drive the company cleaning van to and from job sites
- Assess customer needs and explain the cleaning process clearly
- Treat customer homes and businesses with respect and care
- Follow company procedures to ensure the highest cleaning standards
- Maintain equipment and keep the work vehicle clean and stocked
- Handle payment processing or job completion forms, if required
- Provide exceptional customer service, including follow-up and feedback requests
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a professional attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Prior experience in carpet or floor cleaning not required
- Must be punctual and dependable
