Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Experienced Plumbers:
- Shadow experienced plumbers to learn about plumbing techniques, tools, and procedures.
- Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to use plumbing equipment and tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Parts Procurement and Delivery:
- Receive parts and materials shipments and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Prepare and pack materials for delivery to job sites according to work orders and project requirements.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and transport materials to and from job sites in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Job Site Support:
- Assist plumbers with setting up and cleaning up job sites, including moving equipment and materials as needed.
- Provide support to plumbers during installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Learning and Development:
- Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to expand knowledge of plumbing principles and practices.
- Seek guidance and feedback from experienced plumbers to enhance skills and performance.
- Take initiative to learn and improve, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if responsible for parts delivery).
