Licensed Plumber for Tennessee

The Plumbing service professional is responsible for performing plumbing service repairs, replacements and installation services and drain cleaning using the Mr. Rooter Service System. This position uses a mobile device to connect with our point-of-sale system to create estimates, work orders and invoices for all service requests. The Plumbing service professional delivers world-class customer experience, while delivering a high net promoter score and delivering on Company established financial targets. This individual safely operates and maintains all assigned company vehicles, equipment, and tools in accordance with policies, procedures, and manuals – while following our Code of Values including Respect, Integrity, Customer Focus and Having Fun in the Process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform plumbing services as scheduled according to the daily service demand.
• Responsible for entering all service data to include but not limited to job arrival, estimated time to complete job, job completion, etc. into the iPad.
• Perform the Mr. Rooter Service System on all calls.
• Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and estimating the typical plumbing service requests.
• Use the Menu Pricing Guide, to select the appropriate solutions and present each customer with a minimum of two options for every service requested.
• Communicates effectively to customer questions, requests, or other customer issues. If unable to resolve immediately refer to the Field Supervisor or Service Manager.
• Always maintains well-¬groomed professional appearance. Responsible for the maintenance and proper use of all uniforms, tools & equipment, vehicles, and other Company issued items.
• Attends Company meetings and training, as needed. Participates in weekly, monthly, and special company meetings, as appropriate.
• Facilitates a cooperative and productive working relationship between all fellow Associates and other personnel.
• Performs duties to meet prescribed Company standards, target and benchmarks.
• Uses good judgment and self-control in areas wherein the company entrusts him to maintain company and customer confidentiality. Responsible for maintaining all policy and procedures in accordance with Company policy.
• Sets an example in being punctual and dependable. Reports to work promptly. Responds immediately to dispatched calls during his “on call” scheduling.
• Perform other duties as assigned. This may include performing duties that are outside of the scope of normal job duties.
• Establish a sound positive work relationship with all managers and supervisors. Must be able to listen and place into practical application all suggested feedback received.
• Build customer relationships that provide for a high company Net Promoter Score and 4 star or higher online customer reviews.

Education and/or experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year’s applicable work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
