Emergency Roadside Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Roadside Specialist to provide prompt and professional assistance to motorists in need. This role involves responding to roadside emergencies, performing vehicle repairs, and ensuring safety on the road. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, familiarity with various tools, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. This position is essential for maintaining safety and mobility for drivers in our community.

Duties

• Respond quickly to roadside assistance requests, including flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and minor mechanical failures
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire changes, jump-starts, and fluid top-offs
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to repair or troubleshoot vehicles on-site
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues requiring further attention
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to assess electrical systems within vehicles
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during roadside repairs to protect yourself and others
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of waste materials
• Document service activities accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on vehicles or related equipment
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic devices such as ohmmeters
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and electrical systems
• Ability to perform repairs efficiently in outdoor or variable weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
• Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior experience with vehicle electrical systems or use of diagnostic tools is a plus
