Role Description
This is a remote, 1099 contractor position for an SAT Maths Tutor located in Brookline, MA. The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction to students preparing for the SAT Math section. Daily tasks include one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, lesson planning, creating practice problems, tracking student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The tutor will also collaborate with students and parents to set academic goals and ensure success in their standardized test preparation.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Mathematics, including Algebra and related topics
- Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents
- Ability to tailor teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Prior SAT/ACT tutoring experience is highly preferred
- Organizational skills and a commitment to fostering academic excellence
