ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced CDL Driver who can do more than just move materials — someone who understands job site operations and can help keep a crew running smoothly. You'll haul asphalt, aggregate, and equipment to active paving sites, coordinate with Foremen on delivery timing, and support field logistics independently.
This is not an entry-level driving position. You're seasoned behind the wheel, comfortable on construction job sites, and ready to be a reliable part of a high-performing paving operation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Haul asphalt, aggregate, and paving materials to job sites safely and on schedule
- Operate dump trucks, water trucks, and other support vehicles
- Coordinate directly with Foremen and crew on material delivery timing and staging
- Assist with equipment positioning and job site logistics as needed
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT requirements
- Maintain accurate load tickets, delivery logs, and required paperwork
- Follow all traffic laws, job site safety rules, and company policy
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL required
- 2 years of CDL driving experience, preferably in construction or paving
- Clean MVR and current medical certificate
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or tandem axle vehicles
- Comfortable working independently on active job sites
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong communication with Foremen and crew in a fast-paced environment
