We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sod Driver to join our delivery team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, transport sod and related materials.
- Load and unload sod using fork lift or piggy back
- Ensure proper securing of loads for transportation to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and machinery to maintain optimal operation and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely installation of sod.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge fork lift and piggy back.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Pay: Up to $52,000.00 per year
