Duties
- Prepare, package, and label products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and process orders efficiently.
- Assist with order picking and packing for both bulk distribution and e-commerce orders, maintaining high accuracy rates.
- Manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork as needed.
- Conduct stock replenishment activities like stocking shelves and organizing pallets to streamline order fulfillment processes.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including reach trucks), pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification preferred.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate order processing.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
