Duties
- Supervise daily store activities, including cash handling, cashiering, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead, train, and develop team members in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to optimize sales opportunities.
- Oversee store merchandising and pricing strategies to attract customers and maximize profitability.
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervisory and team leadership skills preferred.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cash handling, and store management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
- Ability to train staff effectively on customer service standards, phone etiquette, and sales techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising employees with a focus on employee orientation and development.
