We are looking to add a Professional Handyman to our team at Mr. Handyman Norwich, New London, and Glastonbury. We are a locally owned and operated company with the backing of a national franchise. All of our service professionals are employees of Mr. Handyman, not subcontractors. We have a motivated team with great support systems from top to bottom. Your Responsibilities as a Professional Handyman:

· Completing Maintenance & Repairs - You will be completing small to large maintenance & repairs for residential and commercial projects. The project length can range from 1 hour to two days.

· Making Recommendations & Managing Expectations with Customers – You will communicate with customers to help them understand the scope of their projects regarding the type of work and the costs associated. You will be responsible for estimating projects and sourcing materials.

· Create Life-Long Customers – Create and show value in your work & character to build life-long relationships.

Job Requirements as a Handyman Professional:

· Have a minimum 8 years’ experience as a paid professional in home improvement and commercial maintenance/repairs.

· Own your own tools

· Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for driving our vehicle

· Complete a background check and driving record check

· Ability to lift 50lbs independently

· Ability to safely work at heights or different positions for extended periods of time

· Professional appearance and maintenance of company provided vehicle

· Knowledge and familiarity of building codes

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to meet expected deadlines

· Ability to accurately estimate jobs from small to large

· Positive and motivated character

· Excellent communication skills
