Overview:
Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.
Accountabilities:
- Conduct daily inventory counts, investigate overages and shortages, manage slotting for new items, and process deletions.
- Coordinate with various vendors (e.g., Micros, pre-cut items) to verify stock levels, with a focus on high-value and specialty products.
- Collaborate closely with buyers to resolve quality issues and inventory discrepancies, including recounts and adjustments.
- Support warehouse operations through slotting, slot audits, and maintaining accurate and organized inventory systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Work involves lifting materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work in a refrigerated environment, between 34 and 55 degrees.
- You must always wear appropriate PPE (such as steel-toed shoes, safety vests, gloves, and hairnets) while in the work area.
