Overview:

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida. With deliveries 365 days a year, 7 days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct daily inventory counts, investigate overages and shortages, manage slotting for new items, and process deletions.
• Prepare and distribute inspection reports to the appropriate departments.
• Coordinate with various vendors (e.g., Micros, pre-cut items) to verify stock levels, with a focus on high-value and specialty products.
• Collaborate closely with buyers to resolve quality issues and inventory discrepancies, including recounts and adjustments.
• Support warehouse operations through slotting, slot audits, and maintaining accurate and organized inventory systems.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Work involves lifting materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a refrigerated environment, between 34 and 55 degrees.
• You must always wear appropriate PPE (such as steel-toed shoes, safety vests, gloves, and hairnets) while in the work area.

• This position works in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels.
