Job Summary
Based out of Harrisville, NY - We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. Will be responsible for transporting stone, topsoil and asphalt to the paver safely and efficiently, ensuring safe and timely delivery to our clients. Aggregate and asphalt is seasonal. There is other work available and can be discussed. Primarily dump trucks and flowboy trailer work.
Duties
- Perform route driving to deliver materials and products to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively and Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage and hours of service.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations - ensure DOT compliance and company policies.
- Perform all required truck/trailer/load safety checks per company and DOT law.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safe keeping of the truck.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class A or B license (CDL) and current DOT physical.
- Have an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Full or Part time.
- Have at least six months driving experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Stamina to perform in various weather conditions.
- Pay depends on experience
