Certified Journeyman Electrician

Mr. Electric of Southwest Las Vegas is seeking an experienced local Certified Journeyman Electrician to join our residential service team. This position is intended for electricians who currently live and work in the Las Vegas Valley and understand the local residential service market.

This is a customer-facing service position for an electrician who can confidently diagnose problems, develop solutions, communicate options to homeowners, and complete high-quality electrical work from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical problems
• Perform service repairs, installations, panel work, dedicated circuits, EV chargers, lighting, and electrical upgrades
• Perform electrical safety evaluations and identify code and safety concerns
• Explain findings and solutions clearly and professionally to customers
• Prepare accurate scopes and estimates
• Complete work in accordance with the NEC and local AHJ requirements
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and customer service

What We’re Looking For

• Current Journeyman Electrician certification acceptable within Clark County
• 3 years of residential electrical service experience; Las Vegas market experience strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
• Solid knowledge of the NEC
• Experience with panels, service equipment, circuits, electrical upgrades, and residential troubleshooting
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to independently manage a service call from diagnosis through completion
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus

This position offers performance-based, commission-oriented compensation with strong earning potential based on individual performance and completed work.
