What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pawn Broker/Sales Associate position at Mr. Cash Pawn Shop?
We buy, sell, and make collateral loans on everything from tools and electronics to jewelry and firearms. We're looking for someone sharp, honest, and good with people to join the counter team.
What you'd actually do:
- Wait on customers, negotiate buy and loan prices, and write up transactions
- Learn to appraise a wide range of merchandise (we'll train you; curiosity matters more than prior knowledge)
- Run the sales floor: stocking, pricing, and helping people find what they came for
- Handle cash and inventory accurately and accountably
You must be able to:
- Pass a standard background check and a drug screen, including marijuana, which is not permitted regardless of legality elsewhere
- Meet all federal and state requirements to work around firearms
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet through a shift
- Show up reliably and work in person with the public
Schedule & pay:
- Hourly, paid weekly. Rate based on experience
- Six-day week: Monday–Friday 9–6, Saturday 9–4, with one weekday off.
- 5 PTO vacation days a year, plus some paid holidays.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
