Duties

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently.
• Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers utilizing hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
• Install new appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards, ensuring proper electrical, plumbing, and mechanical connections.
• Use ladder work and electrical experience to access hard-to-reach components safely and effectively.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration systems and electrical components to restore optimal operation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for appliance pickups, deliveries, installations, and service calls.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and addressing customer questions professionally.

Experience

• Proven experience with appliance repair, installation, maintenance, or related MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical work, plumbing connections, and refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently through electrical testing and equipment diagnostics.
• Experience operating ladders safely and performing physical tasks associated with appliance installation or repair.
• Previous delivery driver experience or familiarity with company vehicle operation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
