We are urgently seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances. Duties
- Diagnose and repair appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household or commercial units
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to identify issues accurately
- Perform mechanical repairs including replacing parts, assembling components, and ensuring proper operation of appliances
- Conduct refrigeration repairs and maintenance as needed
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical components
- Operate box trucks for appliance service calls, ensuring safe handling of equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities and field operations
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience servicing and repairing major household appliances.
- Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Electrical experience relevant to appliance troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, or equipment repair is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Prior experience with assembly or equipment installation is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
