Senior Appliance Repair Technician

At Mr. Appliance, we're looking for a qualified Senior Appliance Repair Technician. You will be a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment. You will spend most of your days visiting residential homes in one of our wrapped vans with an office staff of 10 customer service and administrative staff backing up your every move. Our software provides intelligent routing for your schedule to minimize your drive time while sending automatic notifications to customers to let them know when you're on your way. This position is ideal for an independent person who works with limited supervision and gets satisfaction out of "saving the day" for our customers with broken appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
• Provide field training to peers

Requirements:

• 3 years of appliance repair experience (but we are open to training promising candidates!)
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency to use our iPad-based field service management software
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances

Compensation: $1,100.00 - $2,000.00 per week
