- Communicate job assignments, schedules, and updates to drivers and field personnel.
- Prepare job packets including work orders, directions, permits, and required safety documentation.
- Monitor and update the status of equipment, loads, and field resources.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or team member.
- Respond to emergency customer requests by coordinating rapid deployment of personnel and equipment.
- Identify staffing, material, and equipment shortages and implement solutions to maintain service continuity.
- Coordinate equipment transfers between job sites to support operational needs.
- Maintain accurate scheduling and dispatch records within company systems.
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve scheduling efficiency and customer responsiveness.
- Support daily logistics planning activities to ensure safe and productive job execution.
- Make independent decisions within established guidelines to support operational objectives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and customer needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational, industrial, or technical training preferred.
- One to two years of dispatch, logistics, transportation, or service industry experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating truck, equipment, or workforce scheduling is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and standard business software applications.
- Ability to analyze schedules, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly to changing operational demands.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and communicating by phone.
