MPT Autobody has served the Auto, RV, Fleet, and Marine industries since 2001. We specialize in RV collision and body repair, fiberglass repair, interior renovations, custom fabrication, and complete roof replacement.
We are a fast-paced, quality-focused shop offering steady, year-round work on a wide variety of RVs and specialty vehicles.
Position Overview
MPT Autobody is looking for experienced, hands-on technicians with skills in autobody repair, fiberglass, carpentry/interior repair, metal fabrication, or a combination of these areas.
You do not need to specialize in every area. We are looking for technicians who have strong experience in one or more of these trades and are willing to work on a variety of repair and fabrication projects.
Applicants should have at least two years of relevant professional experience and must be able to provide their own tools.
Our projects vary widely and may include collision and body repairs, fiberglass work, structural repairs, custom fabrication, interior renovations, flooring, cabinetry, trim, exterior panels, roof systems, windows, jacks, steps, and other RV components.
Body & Fiberglass Repair
- RV collision and body repair
- Fiberglass repair and reconstruction
- Repair of cracks, holes, impact damage, and damaged fiberglass panels
- Exterior panel and body component repair
- Bodywork and surface preparation
- Sanding, shaping, filling, and finishing repaired areas
- Removal and installation of exterior RV components
- Structural and cosmetic repairs
Carpentry & Interior Work
- Interior repairs and renovations
- Custom cabinetry
- Flooring installation and repair
- Trim and finish work
- Interior structural repairs
- Removal and installation of RV components
- Repair and replacement of damaged wood and interior structures
Metal Fabrication
- Custom metal fabrication
- Steel welding
- Aluminum welding
- Fabrication and repair of brackets, panels, supports, and structural components
- Cutting, fitting, grinding, and finishing metal
- Repair and replacement of exterior metal components
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in body repair, fiberglass, carpentry, fabrication, welding, or RV repair
- Must provide your own tools
- Ability to take accurate measurements and perform detailed work
- Strong problem-solving and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced shop
- Commitment to safe, high-quality repairs
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 1 hour lunch
- Saturdays as needed
