- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and make necessary repairs.
- Keep repair records and make sure everything is up to code and safe.
- Use proper tools and equipment to complete jobs efficiently.
- Safely drive and operate CDL Class A trucks.
- Deliver equipment & materials to and from job sites.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow DOT safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and securing materials as needed.
- Day-to-day housekeeping of yard, shop & storage facilities.
- Inventory, organizing, moving materials.
- Flexible position, helping where needed day to day.
- Valid CDL Class A license with air brake endorsement.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong mechanical background and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to help beyond just driving or wrenching.
- Basic computer skills are a plus for logging repairs and reports.
