MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Hydro Blaster to join our team and be dispatched from our Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. This individual will perform setup, inspects, operates, and maintain. This position can/or will require disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials for the purpose of cleaning.

- This individual will load and unload equipment for the job, setup, and breakdown equipment, such as various sized industrial vacuum hose, hydro-blast hoses, or any other systems and processes required for the job.
- Perform hydro-blasting duties, which may involve low pressure and high-pressure ratings ranging from 3,000 psi up to 40,000 psi.
- Perform manual labor duties as required. Clean, muck out, and de-sludge various industrial systems, including paint pits, eliminators, dip tanks, process tanks, and conveyors at host facilities.
- Work in industrial settings, including the automotive industry, steel mills, and power plants.
- Stay physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and manage various hydro-blasting equipment including rigid and / or flex lances.
- Wear proper PPE required for the assigned tasks, including hydro-blasting.
- Maintain best practices and safe operations for hydro-blasting activities.
- Work flexible hours and be willing to travel as necessary to assigned job sites, with company transport available outside the Metro Detroit area.
- Adapt to a position with no set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to pass basic medical exam. No medical impairment that would prohibit the use of respiratory equipment.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
- Ability to follow safe work protocols, commercial and industrial processes and adhere to the personal protection requirements of the assigned job.
- Ability to pass company training programs when assigned (OSHA 10, 40hr HAZWOPER, DOT-RCRA, forklift, aerial lift, etcetera).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Driver's license and or Chauffer's license.
- High School Diploma.
